Ingredients:

Preparation: Mix the butter, cream cheese, sugar and vanilla sugar until frothy. Stir in the flour, salt and nuts. Chill the dough for 1 hour. Shape the mixture into several rolls about 3 cm in diameter, wrap in cling film and let harden overnight in the refrigerator or put in the freezer for a while. Preheat the oven to 190 ° C top / bottom heat, line several baking trays with baking paper. Cut the slightly thawed rolls of dough into slices just under 0.5 cm thick. Place on the trays at a distance, press in sugar pearls or sugar sprinkles as decoration. Bake the biscuits for 12-14 minutes until they are light brown at the bottom, then leave to cool on a wire rack.
