If you want to swim laps in the royal swimming pool in Buckingham Palace in the future, you have to be prepared for significantly cooler temperatures.

For a real king and his servants, there are of course also the best opportunities to cool down royally in Buckingham Palace. This can now be taken literally: the water temperature in the palace swimming pool seems to have become significantly cooler since King Charles III. (74) is in charge. He left, as reported by The Sunday Timesturn the thermostat down.

“Some people using the pool have noticed that the water temperature has dropped and it is significantly cooler than before. They were told the king had turned down the heat,” a palace insider said.

Everything for climate protection

For financial reasons, however, this decision was not made, as it is further said. Rather, wanted King Charles III. do something for climate protection in this way. For the same reasons, he had previously had the royal heaters turned down.
