Does he go or does he stay? It is by no means certain that world-class attacker Robert Lewandowski will continue to play for Bayern. At FC Barcelona he is considered a hot candidate. In addition, he should be dissatisfied that Bayern have not yet spoken to him.
For Robert Lewandowski, saying goodbye to Bayern Munich next summer is apparently becoming an option. As the “Sport Bild” reports, the Pole is disappointed by the delaying tactics of the German record champions, the change veto by sports director Hasan Salihamidzic is said to have poured more oil on the fire.
The question of whether it would be possible to sell the 33-year-old in the summer Salihamidzic denied on Sky90 on Sunday. Lewandowski has a contract until June 30, 2023, “that’s clear, we’re going to talk about what’s next”.

According to the report, however, this scenario is not an option for Lewandowski and his advisor Pini Zahavi. The long-term future of the player should be decided by the summer, because when his contract expires in 2023, Lewandowski would be almost 35 years old, which from the point of view of the player camp should be avoided at all costs and prevented by all means so as not to deter potential buyers.
In addition, Lewandowski still dreams of playing in Spain. FC Barcelona is currently considered a hot candidate in poker. According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the Catalans have a “clear plan”. Talks with Lewandowski’s agent are said to have been ongoing since February, but before Barca take any further steps, the striker must first seek talks with his current club.
This week there should now be a meeting between Lewandowski, Zahavi and FC Bayern. Club officials continue to hope to keep the player.
