It is also said that Schalke believes Caligiuri can be an “emergency aid” for Thomas Reis’ team. The only doubts would be that the 34-year-old would have no resale value – but given the precarious situation in the table, that shouldn’t actually play the most important role if you are sportingly convinced of a player.
