Restaurant refuses to serve vaccinated people

In California, a restaurant decided to resist. Accustomed to controversies since the start of the Covid-19 epidemic, the managers of Basilico’s Pasta e Vino are now fiercely opposed to the vaccine, indicates Capital which reports information from Vice.

Only unvaccinated customers are invited to enter. Management posted a clear message on their storefront: “We have zero tolerance for anti-American betrayal and stupidity.” The American restaurant even published a message on social networks indicating that it was asking for “proof” of non-vaccination.

Several provocations

They had created an association called “Make Restaurants Great again”, in reference to Donald Trump’s campaign slogan of which they are supporters. They claim to want to “defend individual liberty and the freedom of Americans” despite the “risks”.

Basilico’s Pasta e Vino remained open in March 2020 when all restaurants had to close their doors. Then, health measures such as wearing a mask or respecting social distancing were not respected when these establishments reopened.

Contamination on the rise

The managers even went further by installing a sign in Beverly Hills showing a cult scene from the Godfather: “Leave the Mask, Take the Cannoli”, a reference to the cult replica “Leave The Gun, Take the Cannoli”. Finally, they established an arrest warrant against Anthony Fauci, immunologist and head of the National Institute of Allergies and Infectious Diseases (NIAID). The latter is wanted for “treason and crimes against humanity”.

Covid-19 cases are on the rise again in Orange County, where Basilico’s Pasta e Vino is located. 562 people tested positive Thursday, July 29, compared to 363 nine days earlier.
