Renaud is not done with music. As he celebrates his 70th birthday on May 11, the singer returns on Friday with a new album, this time made up of covers. An album that the artist should not present on stage, reports AFP. The reason ? Its damaged tone. “I had too much trouble on the 2016 one, with my hoarse, gravelly voice, it still is,” he explained recently to RTL.

Three years later Kids and kids first, Renaud is back with a new album, and probably not the last. “I wrote a song or two. The first two of a future album. I may be doing a sequel to this covers album, Renaud announced to RTL. Covers Vol. 2, other songs… And then maybe I’ll make an album of original songs. »
