Kevin Costner is among the celebrities who want to help hurricane victims in the USA with fundraising campaigns. The Hollywood star is doing all he can with his rock and country band.

Oscar winner Kevin Costner (69) wants to help the victims of hurricanes “Helene” and “Milton” in the USA with a song. The actor announced on Instagram that he and his band “Modern West” had released their first song in over four years. All proceeds from the song “Find Your Way” would go to the aid organization “Hope Force International”, which helps with reconstruction in the affected areas.

Costner wrote that he himself experienced phases of darkness and clung to song lyrics that helped him. He hopes that this song offers refuge to those who lose sight of hope. There is no fixed purchase price. Everyone should decide the amount of the donation for themselves.

Costner often tours as a singer and guitarist with his rock and country band “Kevin Costner & Modern West”. The two-time Oscar winner (“Dances with Wolves”) recently brought the first part of his planned western series “Horizon” to cinemas as director and leading actor.

Celebrities such as singers Taylor Swift and Dolly Parton and the actor couple Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively have already donated millions to the victims of hurricanes “Helene” and “Milton”.

“Milton” made landfall in the western US state of Florida late on Wednesday evening (local time). Just a few days earlier, Storm Helene had hit the southeastern United States and left devastating devastation in several states. According to reports, well over 200 people lost their lives as a result of “Helene”.
