A woman was sentenced to seven years in prison for manslaughter before the regional court in Regensburg for killing her mother. In addition, the presiding judge Michael Hammer ordered the woman to be placed in a psychiatric hospital on Thursday.
The 33-year-old had confessed to the fact. The woman was charged with murder. According to the court’s conviction, the woman attacked her mother in her apartment in July of this year with a porcelain figure and a knife, among other things. The victim bled to death.
After the crime, the daughter called the police and asked that they “lock her up forever.” The woman suffers from a borderline disorder as well as an alcohol disorder. The verdict is not yet legally binding.
