Refueling – record price for gasoline – economy

Refueling in Germany is more expensive than ever: Russia’s war against Ukraine has driven fuel prices to new record highs. As the ADAC announced on Monday, petrol and diesel prices jumped by more than five cents per liter in three days. According to ADAC, drivers had to pay an average of 1.811 euros for a liter of Super E10 on Sunday, 5.4 cents more than last Thursday. Diesel cost an average of 1.729 euros per liter and has therefore increased in price by 5.9 cents within three days. There is no relief in sight: the price of a barrel of Brent crude oil is currently more than 100 US dollars, which is around four dollars more than last Tuesday.
