Refueling
Fuel prices are falling again
Those who plan long car journeys before and at Christmas no longer have to worry as much about fuel prices as they did in autumn. The ADAC advises to use fluctuations.
Before the holidays, fuel prices fell significantly again. E10 premium petrol fell within a week by 2 cents per liter, as the ADAC announced on Wednesday.
The nationwide daily average on Tuesday it cost 1,590 euros. Diesel was cheaper by 1.8 cents to 1.506 euros per liter. This means that fuel prices have resumed their downward trend after the unusually high levels in October and November. Last week, contrary to the latest trend, there was a slight increase.
The traffic club advises drivers planning longer journeys over the public holidays or the Christmas break to take advantage of the fluctuations in the course of the day. Between 6:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. and between 8:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m., fuel up to seven cents per liter cheaper than in the morning hours.
