London: Russia forms new major association

In order to strengthen the offensive in the Donbass, Russia wants to set up a new army corps, British secret services report. The “3AC” should therefore move its headquarters east of Moscow. The fighters are to be pulled together directly from newly formed volunteer battalions.
According to British intelligence services, Russia is to recruit volunteers for a new army corps to strengthen its offensive in Ukraine. The recruits – men up to the age of 50 and with high school diplomas – would be offered lucrative bonuses, the UK Defense Ministry said in an update. Apparently, Moscow is planning to assemble a large part of the fighters from newly formed volunteer battalions.
The headquarters of the new unit, dubbed the “3rd Army Corps (3AC)” by the British, is said to be in Mulino, a settlement in the Nizhny Novgorod region east of Moscow. However, it is unlikely that it will have a decisive influence on the Ukraine war, it was said from London. Because the Russians will probably not succeed in bringing the new corps to the usual troop strength of 15,000 to 20,000. Because the motivation of the population to go to war against Ukraine is low.
