She has lost a lot of weight and now shows it: Rebel Wilson made a glamorous appearance in Sydney in a black mini dress.
Rebel Wilson, 41, shone on the red carpet at the AACTA Awards in Sydney. The Australian-born actress showed her visibly slim figure in a black mini dress at the awards ceremony. The silver details on the long-sleeved outfit were a real eye-catcher. The 41-year-old combined the short dress with simple black pumps. Her blond mane fell over her shoulders in waves.
Wilson had kept her fans informed about her “health year” over the past few months. The “Pitch Perfect” actress documented her new way of life, through which she is said to have lost 35 kilos, including on Instagram. Wilson has apparently received little support from her own team in Hollywood, as she has just explained in an interview with “BBC News”. She had “gotten a lot of headwinds” from her own team when she said she wanted to do her “health year,” says Wilson. And they said: “Why? Why would you want to do that?” Because as the “funny, fat girl” she earned millions.
Dealing with food was partly “not healthy”
Even with more weight, she was “very self-confident,” continues Wilson. She also loved herself back then and enchanted herself on the red carpet, although in some cases she was perhaps up to three times as heavy as other actresses. But deep down she knew that her behavior when dealing with food was sometimes “not healthy”. She wanted to numb her emotions by eating food.
