Readings in the Literature House: Timothy Garton Ash and courageous Iranian women – Munich

One explains Europe. The others explain Iran. And all together they explain to us the world in which we live. This in turn also explains why the forthcoming readings by Timothy Garton Ash, Natalie Amiri and Düzen Tekkal in the Literaturhaus are almost sold out. There are now additional stream tickets for both evenings.

And so the viewers can listen live and virtually to the British historian Ash, who explains his personal story in and with “Europe”, which begins in 1945 with his father’s stationing as an occupation soldier in Germany. And can of the authors Natalie Amiri and Duzen Tekkal Hearing news about the Iranian women’s struggle for freedom, summed up in the title of their joint book: “We are not afraid.”
