RC Lens publishes an ironic video to protest against the arbitration decisions in Brest

To say that the Lensois had little taste for the arbitration of Benoît Bastien, this Sunday in Brest, is a mild understatement. Coach Franck Haise had already deplored several decisions, after the draw (1-1) during the 22nd day of Ligue 1. The third in the championship, in difficulty for three games (two draws, one defeat), published a video full of irony on Monday to point to three actions in particular.

On the model of “The Unknown Singers Compilation”masterpiece of the duo Kad and Olivier, with a very vintage soundtrack (hello Gilbert Montagné and Ottawan), the Sang et Or present in turn Jean-Michel Çajoue, Jean-Michel Padepéno and Jean-Michel Pasdecarton in “The Forgotten VAR Compilation”.

Brest captain Pierre Lees-Melou as a “star”

In the first case, the club regrets the unwhistled hand of Breton captain Pierre Lees-Melou, decisive passer on the opener of Jérémy Le Douaron (54th). In the second, it highlights the hand of Brest midfielder Haris Belkebla in his area which was not sanctioned with a penalty (32nd).

Finally, it is the very rough tackle of Lees-Melou on Deiver Machado which is denounced (57th). Already warned, the former Niçois did not receive a second yellow card and was able to finish the match, while the Colombian left piston from Lens ended up in the emergency room, for an open thumb fracture coupled with a thigh injury.

Seko Fofana’s teammates still managed to equalize through Jonathan Gradit (83rd) late in the game.
