ZDF should be happy about last night’s ratings: around 3.5 million watched the show. Still, that wasn’t enough to win the quota race.

With the documentary “AIDA: The Insiders – The Tricks of the Cruise Giant” ZDF used its slot on Tuesday evening very successfully this time. 3.51 million (14.3 percent) switched on the second from 8.15 p.m., in the younger target group of 14 to 49 year olds the rate was also full at 12.7 percent. The Mainz station often shows historical documentaries on Tuesday evenings, and the rate is often only moderate.

The strongest in prime time that evening was the first with “Veterinarian Dr. Mertens” – the family series with Elisabeth Lanz reached 3.85 million (15.7 percent). After that, the number of viewers of the doctor’s series “All Friendship” rose to 4.24 million (17.4 percent). The regional thriller “Friesland: Biodiversity” on ZDFneo reached 1.72 million (7.0 percent).

The US crime series “Navy CIS: Hawaii” attracted 1.07 million (4.4 percent) on Sat.1. RTL reached 1.01 million (4.2 percent) with the reality series “Pocher und Papa auf Reisen”. The Vox music show “Sing my song – the exchange concert” had exactly the same values.

ProSieben broadcast the report series “Jenke. Report.” out, 930,000 people (3.9 percent) wanted to see that. The RTLzwei social report “Poor Germany – stamping or toiling away?” brought 710,000 people into the house (3.0 percent). Kabel Eins had the science fiction “Super 8” on offer, attracting 700,000 viewers (3.0 percent).
