ZDF achieved a clear ratings victory on Friday evening: 5.60 million viewers watched the thriller “Die Chefin” from 8.15 p.m. and gave the second a market share of 21.0 percent. In the episode “Ockham’s Knife” detective Vera Lanz (Katharina Böhm) had to investigate a hit-and-run case. This started the new season of the ZDF crime series with six episodes.

The ARD comedy “Back on the Ice” with Inka Friedrich brought it to 3.03 million (11.5 percent). Meanwhile, the new season of “Celebrity Big Brother” started on Sat.1 with a market share of 7.4 percent. 1.56 million watched the more or less prominent participants move into their dwellings, which were constantly monitored by television cameras. The agent comedy “Kingsman: The Secret Service” on ProSieben came to 1.47 million (5.9 percent) and the docu-soap “Goodbye Germany! The Emigrants” on Vox to 0.77 million (3.0 percent). 0.66 million (2.5 percent) watched the crime series “Navy CIS” on Kabel Eins and 0.65 million (2.6 percent) watched the action film “Just 60 Seconds” on RTLzwei.
