Rain – sandwiched by a metal ramp – Bavaria

A worker was trapped by a 300 kilogram metal ramp in a steel construction company in Swabia and was seriously injured. The 23-year-old removed two safety bolts from the metal ramp on a bending roller at the company in Rain (Donau-Ries district), the police said on Tuesday. Apparently he forgot to secure it with a crane. The ramp had tilted and the worker was trapped between it and the wall. With severe injuries to his face and neck, he was taken to a hospital by rescue helicopter.
