Rail transport – FDP looks to the rail economy

The FDP politician Michael Theurer is the new Federal Government Commissioner for Rail Transport. The Ministry of Transport announced on Wednesday after the cabinet meeting. Theurer is Parliamentary State Secretary in the Federal Ministry of Transport. Oliver Luksic (FDP), also parliamentary state secretary in the transport department, will be the new coordinator of the federal government for freight transport and logistics. For the first time, Minister Volker Wissing (FDP) appointed an officer for charging station infrastructure – this will be FDP politician Daniela Kluckert, who is also parliamentary state secretary in the Ministry of Transport. The rail commissioner is responsible for developing an overall strategic concept for the railways, and the implementation of the Germany cycle is planned.
