We show you a quick and easy recipe for a moist sheet cake – with ingredients you most likely have at home anyway.
1 pack baking powder
250 g flour
6 tbsp milk
And this is how you prepare the lightning cake:
To start, line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees top and bottom heat.
For the dough, first beat the butter with the sugar until fluffy and gradually fold in the eggs.
Then mix the flour with the baking powder and fold into the egg mixture alternately with the milk.
You can now put the finished dough on the baking tray and bake it in the oven for 30 minutes.
Before eating, let the cake cool down and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
If you have baking cocoa, nuts or fruit at home, you can of course mix them into the dough or use them for decoration.
