The Dutch royals are currently touring the Caribbean. On the island of Sint Eustatius, Queen Máxima wowed in a yellow dress.

Queen Máxima (51), King Willem-Alexander (55) and Princess Amalia (18) visited the island of Sint Eustatius on the 10th day of their Caribbean trip. In keeping with the tropical climate, the Dutch monarch opted for a long, yellow and white summer dress with a leaf print and flounced hem. She wore white strappy sandals, a hat and a straw clutch. Large earrings with shells and tassels completed the look. Máxima’s blonde hair was pulled back in a ponytail on the windy day.

Her husband and daughter opted for subtle white and blue when choosing their clothes. King Willem-Alexander chose a white shirt, dark blue trousers and black shoes. Princess Amalia appeared in a cornflower blue shirt, white trousers and cream sandals. She made her look stand out with earrings in the shape of dragonflies and a patterned clutch.

The Royals’ Caribbean trip is coming to an end

On Sint Eustatius, Queen Máxima, King Willem-Alexander and Princess Amalia expected a tightly packed program: After the welcome by Government Commissioner Alida Francis, the trio came together with representatives of the island government. A stroll through the historic center of the capital Oranjestad followed, followed by a debate on the future of the island.

After lunch, the royals learned about local nature management and visited a community garden on the Zeelandia beach. A basketball game and a cultural event at Fort Oranje rounded off their visit to the island.

Sint Eustatius is the fifth stop on the two-week Caribbean cruise that ends on Thursday.
