The football World Cup in Qatar has caused a lot of controversy.
Expensive overnight accommodations for fans are now stirring things up.
This video is intended to show tents that can be booked from the equivalent of 200 euros per night and tent.
The clip received more than six million views within a few days.
A user wrote on Twitter: “I feel sorry for the people who sleep in these tents. It’s going to be damn hot, and if there’s a sandstorm, these things will take off.”
For other users, the recordings evoke memories of the scandal surrounding the “Fyre Festival” – in which, among other things, expensive tents advertised as luxurious turned out to be the opposite.
Other users note that in addition to tents, there are also alternative accommodation options such as sleeping containers and hotels.
The only thing that is expensive is not only the accommodation options. Half a liter of beer should cost 13.20 euros.
