The Green Party politician and Mayor of Pullach, Susanna Millennium, was awarded the Bavarian Order of Merit on Thursday. With the order, the state government honors people who have made a special contribution to the country. In his laudatory speech in the Munich Residence, Prime Minister Markus Söder (CSU) referred above all to the thousand friends’ commitment to renewable energies and alternative transport concepts and their many years of local political service. Millennium friend said at the award that she was pleased that “green politics in Bavaria is honored in this way”. Her co-chairman at the head of the district parliamentary group, Christoph Nadler, said of the award: “It is the reward for her tireless commitment and the great political footprint she has left in Bavaria and in our district.”
