PSG: Sporting director Leonardo criticizes Zlatan Ibrahimovic

Zlatan Ibrahimovic Leonardo PSG

Zlatan Ibrahimovic criticizes PSG sporting director Leonardo in his new book. The Brazilian doesn’t take the criticism and counters.

PSG sporting director Leonardo reacted angrily to Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s criticism of the French top club and him in his new book “Adrenaline”.

As Ibrahimovic writes in the book, he himself offered his services to the club to replace Leonardo as sporting director. The Swede also said there was a lack of discipline in PSG’s dressing room.

“I don’t even want to answer that. Indiscipline? Where is that supposed to be? Every time a player leaves PSG, he can’t stop talking about us,” Leonardo said in an interview with L’Equipe.

The Brazilian added: “I’m still waiting for an interview from Ibrahimovic saying ‘thank you’ to PSG for everything the club has done for him.” And once in a rage, he followed up: “PSG existed before him and will continue to do so after him,” said Leonardo.

Ibrahimovic shoots PSG to four championships

Ibrahimovic played for Paris Saint-Germain from 2012 to 2016. In 180 competitive games he scored 156 goals for the French capital club, with whom he won the championship four times in a row.

Ibrahimovic, now 40, is under contract with AC Milan until the end of this season.
