Protesters descend on the tracks at Gare Montparnasse and disrupt traffic

The pension reform continues to invite itself everywhere. This Friday, demonstrators descended on the tracks at Montparnasse station, severely disrupting traffic departing from and arriving at the station.

A few minutes after an interprofessional general assembly bringing together railway workers, energy specialists, librarians or RATP agents, several dozen demonstrators found themselves on the tracks, as shown by several videos posted on social networks.

Traffic disrupted on several lines

This action echoes many others organized throughout France by opponents of pension reform who want to show that they are not “letting go” despite the pause of several strike movements for several days.

Joined by 20 minutes, SNCF ensures that traffic has not been disrupted. However, in view of the transport company’s website and its various accounts on social networks, but also the testimonies of Internet users, many journeys have been delayed or diverted.
