Art is an integrating social element that emphasizes what we have in common, not what divides us. That’s what a woman said recently Central Bavarian newspaper, who not only divides society in her place of residence Regensburg: Gloria von Thurn und Taxis. Her critics accuse her of misusing art for her political propaganda. And so an alliance of 100 civilized people made a front against the self-proclaimed princess in April. In an open letter, they accused her of racist, homophobic, science-denying, and generally “misanthropic statements” and called for a boycott of the Regensburg Castle Festival on the noble seat.
