The German weather service predicts that the weather will not change fundamentally in the new week. It is divided in Germany anyway.

Showers and thunderstorms in the south, sunshine and blue skies in the north and east – according to the German Weather Service (DWD), the uneven distribution of the weather across Germany will continue for a few more days.

“Even on Sunday and at the beginning of the new week, nothing fundamental changes in the weather kitchen,” said a meteorologist on Saturday, one day before May 1st, in Offenbach.

This means: From Bavaria to the central parts of the country, dense cumulus clouds will form again and again in the next few days, causing sometimes heavy showers. According to the information, there can even be heavy rain with up to 15 liters per square meter locally. In the north and east, on the other hand, it mostly remains dry under the influence of high pressure.

Although a cold front will appear in the north on Monday, it will also bring hardly any precipitation worth mentioning. “This is likely to worsen the drought in the east and north,” said the meteorologist. According to the DWD, the temperatures reach a maximum of 12 to 16 degrees in the north, from the middle to the south 15 to 21 degrees are possible.
