In Free State, the clocks tick a little differently: Bavaria is the only federal state that has surprisingly extended the deadline for submitting property tax returns. Bavarian property owners should be given three months more time for this – i.e. until the end of April, said Finance Minister Albert Füracker (CSU) on Tuesday after a cabinet meeting. In all other federal states, however, the deadline expires this Tuesday at midnight.
