Proceedings against Zverev are dropped in return for a cash payment – Panorama

The third day of the trial lasts just ten minutes and then it is clear: the trial against tennis star Alexander Zverev is over sooner than expected. The Tiergarten District Court has temporarily suspended the criminal proceedings for intentional bodily harm – in return for a fine of 200,000 euros. As soon as Zverev has paid 150,000 euros to the state treasury and 50,000 euros to charitable organizations, the decision will be legally binding.
