Princess Sofia: She celebrates her birthday in a purple fairytale dress

Sofia of Sweden celebrates her 38th birthday on this St. Nicholas Day. The palace posted a picture on Instagram showing her in a magical fairytale dress.
Sofia of Sweden celebrates her 38th birthday on St. Nicholas Day. The palace has on the official Instagram account published a portrait of the Swedish royal family. “Today, December 6th, HKH Princess Sofia turns 38. Congratulations!” Is the comment on the photo.
The wife of Carl Philip of Sweden looks at the camera with bright eyes and a slight smile in the picture, one arm resting on her hip. The dress of the princess is particularly striking.
The lilac colored dress is completely covered by a floral pattern, which is also found on the waist belt and the sheer long sleeves. The 38-year-old’s dark hair falls slightly wavy over her shoulders and a light pink lip gloss rounds off the fresh look.
Princess Sofia: Her dress received many compliments
Birthday wishes from all over the world quickly gathered under the photo and many users raved about the princess. “I wish the beautiful princess Sofia a happy birthday and a great year” or “She is the most beautiful princess ever” says the comment.
The dress is from Swedish fashion brand ‘by Malina’, as can be seen on the label’s Instagram page. In addition to the balloon sleeves, it also has a monochrome belt and is knee-length.
Princess Sofia and Prince Carl Philip have been married since 2015. Carl Philip is the only son of King Carl XVI. Gustaf and Queen Silvia, née Sommerlath, and the brother of Crown Princess Victoria and Princess Madeleine. The couple have three sons together: Prince Alexander, Prince Gabriel and Prince Julian, who was born in March 2021.
