Princess Sofia and Prince Carl Philip of Sweden are going to be parents again! The couple is expecting their fourth child together.
The family of Princess Sofia (39) and Prince Carl Philip of Sweden (45) continues to grow. The couple is expecting their fourth child. The palace confirmed this on September 2nd.
Princess Sofia is apparently doing well
To a cute couple picture on Instagramin which the son of King Carl XVI Gustaf (78) and Queen Silvia (80) can be seen with his wife Sofia, the official statement states: “Prince Carl Philip and Princess Sofia are delighted to announce that the princess is expecting the couple’s fourth child.” Sofia is currently doing well. This positive health update is also underlined by the fact that no changes are expected in the 39-year-old’s royal schedule for the upcoming autumn.
Will Sofia and Carl Philip have another son?
The couple’s fourth baby will be born around four years after the third child of Carl Philip and Sofia, who have been married since summer 2015. The due date is expected to be in February 2025, as the palace also confirmed. The currently smallest of the two royals, Prince Julian of Sweden (3), was born in March 2021. His older brothers Prince Gabriel (7) and Prince Alexander (8) were born in 2017 and 2016.
On Instagram, the royal couple often shows themselves with their children and publishes, among other things, special shots such as new portraits on their birthdays.
