On those bad days you feel weak and tired and you need to let your body recover. But on the good days when you feel stronger you want to make the most of feeling good.”

Nevertheless, she made it clear that it was still a long way for her to get back to normal everyday life. Her treatment was ongoing and would take a few more months. She also thanked everyone for their sympathy and understanding. The kind messages of support and encouragement in the last few months had “really made a big difference” for her – and specifically for her husband too. The messages had “helped them through difficult times”.
