Princess Isabella of Denmark helps herself to Mama Mary’s wardrobe

In 2022 Isabella of Denmark was confirmed. Now she was a guest at her cousin Henrik’s confirmation – in a great outfit.

Isabella of Denmark (16) was able to celebrate an important day a few weeks ago, because the daughter of Crown Princess Mary (51) and Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark (54) turned 16. Her style is becoming more and more reminiscent of her mother’s, who she also looks a lot like.

At another important appointment in her family, Isabella proved her good taste, as she has done so often: the 16-year-old appeared at the confirmation of her cousin Henrik (14), the son of Joachim (53) and Marie von Denmark (47), in a great outfit that drew everyone’s attention. She had already succeeded in doing this at her own confirmation in 2022.

But this time, the pretty daughter of Mary of Denmark relied on a very special piece: she used her mother’s wardrobe for styling. The apricot-colored blazer, which she wore over a top of the same color, was already seen on Mama Mary. She performed it in June 2022 while visiting the Royal Art Academy in The Hague. While Mary had chosen trousers in the same shade, Isabella combined high-cut white trousers with wide legs that elegantly reached the floor and delicate strappy sandals that kept peeking out. And Josephine also wore an old pleated dress from Mary at her confirmation. She wore the yellow part during a visit to South Korea in 2012.

We show you the looks in the video above.

Danish royals: are the waves smoothed again?

At Henrik’s confirmation, another lady with a stunning outfit caught my eye. Marie from Denmark opted for a bright pink look and was sure to be a real highlight among the guests with this eye-catching color.

If you look at photos from the day, you will notice how relaxed everyone involved seems. This is a particularly beautiful sight after the family disagreements of the last few months, after the title withdrawal for Joachim von Denmark’s children. The waves are said to have calmed down, but the events are certainly not yet completely forgotten.

Especially since the relationship between Joachim and his brother, Crown Prince Frederik (54), is difficult anyway. Joachim spoke about it himself in 2021 in an interview with the French magazine “Point de Vue”: “It’s a bit more complicated between us. The crown prince only has to follow the given path. But as far as the number two and his wife are concerned, nothing is defined, as for the role. Neither in writing nor orally.”

But perhaps Joachim has now found a way with which he can fully identify: in September he is moving with his family from Paris to the USA, where he will work in the Danish embassy in Washington DC.
