A charity special featuring Prince William will air on March 17.

Once again, Prince William is committed to a good cause – and tells what his mother Diana would be disappointed about.
As part of the “Red Nose Day” of the charity Comic Relief, Prince William (40) wants to draw more attention to the issue of homelessness. William met with Nawshin and Miles from the organization Groundswell, which works for homeless people.
According to a statement, the conversation is about sharing personal experiences, harmful misconceptions and what needs to be done. The whole thing is scheduled for the evening of March 17th to be broadcast on BBC One.
Prince William on Diana: “I think she would be disappointed”
William has been helping the homeless for years. His mother, Princess Diana (1961-1997), introduced him to the topic of homelessness at an early age “and I’m very glad that she did,” explains William according to a report by the “Daily Mail” in a preliminary clip. “I think she would be disappointed,” the royal said, referring to the fact that not much has happened in addressing and preventing homelessness since his mother “was interested and engaged in it”.
Last June, without much notice, William sold The Big Issue street newspaper in London, wearing one of the distinctive red vests and caps that identify homeless people as official sellers. Shortly thereafter, he also posed in full work gear on the cover of the new issue – and also wrote a contribution. In this he referred to the social and charitable work of his deceased mother. He was eleven years old when he first visited a homeless shelter with her and had dealt intensively with the topic and intend to continue doing so in the future.
