Prince William and Duchess Kate sent a Christmas greeting to remind everyone who spent Christmas differently than planned.

Duchess Kate (39) and Prince William (39) have reminded everyone on social media who cannot celebrate Christmas as expected this year due to the Corona crisis. “This Christmas will be different from what so many of us had planned,” wrote the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge on Twitter and Instagram. “From those who are alone or need to isolate themselves from loved ones to the incredible people who support the health system and care for those most in need, we think of you.”

According to media reports, William and Kate will spend the holidays with their children Prince George (8), Princess Charlotte (6) and Prince Louis (3) at their country estate, Anm Hall in Norfolk. Williams’ grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II (95), will therefore probably not meet them. The monarch celebrates Christmas with Prince Charles (73) and Duchess Camilla (74) at Windsor Castle. Your traditional trip to Sandringham has been canceled as a precaution. The Omicron variant of the coronavirus is currently spreading rapidly in Great Britain.
