Prince Harry made a short trip to Africa and there – visibly relaxed – campaigned for nature and environmental protection.

Prince Harry (37) made a little trip to Africa – without Duchess Meghan (41) or the children. In social media pictures, Harry can be seen posing casually for the camera in Mozambique in a baseball cap, polo shirt and shorts. In another, the Duke is standing on the beach at Vilanculo and is talking to several people.

The prince’s rep told The Mirror that earlier in the week Harry welcomed and showed around a group of US officials, conservationists and philanthropists who were touring animal and wildlife sanctuaries. Yassin Amuji, President of the Vilanculos Tourist Board, was also there. According to him, Harry was there for two nights.

President of the “Africa Parks” NGO

The background to the short trip was Harry’s function as president of “Africa Parks” there. For years he has been active in the non-profit organization that works to protect nature and animals on the continent. He has even been president of the non-governmental organization (NGO) since 2017. The visit is nothing new, according to Amuji, Harry travels to Vilanculo “almost every year”.

Prince Harry’s great love for the continent of Africa has been known for a long time, at least since his speech to the United Nations in July of this year. “It was in this place that I felt closest to my mother and sought comfort after she passed away, and it was here that I knew I had found a soul mate in my wife,” the prince gushed.
