2022 seems like the season finale of a royal docu-soap, because Prince Harry is planning a real highlight at the end of the year. The prince wants to publish a book about his life. Duchess Camilla should not get off well in the book.

With his brother Prince William and his wife Kate, there is said to be an ice age, now there seems to be trouble with his father Prince Charles. Prince Harry wants to publish his memoirs by the end of the year. But his father’s second wife, Duchess Camilla, is not said to be well discussed in his book.

A friend of the prince who has emigrated has now commented on the content of Harry’s planned publication to the celebrity portal “The Mirror”. If Prince Harry were to write down his thoughts and feelings about Camilla, it would “shake the monarchy to the core,” according to the Duke of Sussex’s pal. Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan are still silent on the announcement that Duchess Camilla should bear the title “Queen Consort” after her husband’s coronation. Everyone publicly congratulated, except for the Sussexes.

Prince Harry used his latest public appearance, a video call with former Wales rugby captain Gareth Thomas, to pay tribute to his late mother Diana. Princess Diana once said in a 1995 interview with the BBC that her marriage to Charles had always been “three people,” meaning Camilla. It is significant that the Duke of Sussex did not say a word about the announcement of Duchess Camilla’s future title. Speaking about Harry and Camilla’s relationship, the prince’s friend is said to have said: “Although tensions between the two have eased over the past twenty years, it has always been more of a show of closeness than a close relationship between the two. They became friends never came close and still don’t today.”

Prince Harry is said to publish intimate feelings and thoughts in his book

Prince Harry’s book is set to be published by Random House before Christmas. It is a multi-million pound book deal and is said to include many insights into Harry’s life and soul. According to the friend to The Mirror, it will include a “really intimate exploration of his feelings for the royal family, as well as explaining the split between them.”

Prince Harry is said to be working with ghostwriter JR Moehringer on his memoir. The Pulitzer Prize-winning American journalist has helped other celebrities with their publications. His clients have included former tennis pro Andre Agassi and Phil Knight, co-founder of shoe giant Nike.

The memoir is said to cover Harry’s childhood, his time in the military – including the war in Afghanistan – and his marriage to Duchess Meghan. In a statement, the prince described his motivation for writing his story: “I am not writing this as the prince I was born to be, but as the man I have become. I have had many hats over the years worn both literally and figuratively I hope that by sharing my story with the ups and downs, the mistakes and the lessons learned I can help show that no matter where we come from we have more in common than we think.”

It is said to be very important to Prince Harry that his mother Diana is not forgotten. Probably one of the reasons for this book. “If you think he’s gone soft then you’re wrong,” Harry’s pal said of the royals.
