Prince Harry is haunted by the death of his mother. Now it has become known that he had Princess Diana explore the last hours.

Prince Harry has delved deeply into the last hours of his late mother, Princess Diana, for his upcoming book. The British newspaper “The Sun” learned this from Paris judicial circles. Persons commissioned by Harry had researched information about the car accident in which his mother died in the French capital 25 years ago. Above all, the last hours of Princess Diana were in focus.

So Harry tried to “get more information about his mother’s death,” an insider revealed: “There are many people in France who remember the night of the accident. It’s only normal that Diana’s son for his book want to know more about it.” Harry is currently working with a ghostwriter on his memoir, which will be released later this year – accompanied by TV and podcast projects.

Memoirs should not contain criticism of the Queen

The book is intended to focus on the immediate period following the loss of his mother in August 1997. Harry blames this tragedy for his psychological problems, which he tried to solve at times with alcohol and drugs when he was younger. The book, which is being led by US journalist JR Moehringer, is not intended to contain any criticism of Queen Elizabeth II. His difficult relationship with father Prince Charles and brother Prince William are therefore discussed.

Princess Diana died in a Paris tunnel accident at the age of 36. Her car crashed into a pillar at high speed while fleeing paparazzi. Her partner at the time, Dodi Al-Fayed, and the driver, Henri Paul, also died. Paul was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the accident.
