Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan have announced a visit to Germany. They are expected in Düsseldorf on September 6th.

Prince Harry (37) and Duchess Meghan (41) come to Germany in early September. This is reported, among other things, by the British newspaper “Daily Mail” and appealing to a spokesman for the Royals. The couple is first expected in the UK on September 5 for the One Young World Summit in Manchester. An event that brings together young leaders from more than 190 countries. Then, on September 6th, we will continue towards Germany, more precisely to Düsseldorf.

The “One Year to Go” event is planned there in preparation for the Invitus Games Düsseldorf 2023, in which Harry and Meghan will take part. On September 8th, the two will travel back to the island for the WellChild Awards. The trip will be Prince Harry’s first home visit since the platinum anniversary celebrations in early June. It is not yet known whether Harry and Meghan will also take their children, son Archie (3) and daughter Lilibet (1), to Europe.

Invictus Games 2023 for the first time in Germany

A spokesman for the couple confirmed: “Prince Harry and Meghan, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are delighted to be visiting several charities close to their hearts in early September.” The Invictus Games is a Paralympic sporting event for war-disabled soldiers that was held for the first time in 2014 and was initiated by Prince Harry. In 2023 Germany will be the venue for the first time.
