Prince Charles is said to have invited Meghan and Harry to stay with him next time they come to England.

Prince Harry (37) and Duchess Meghan (40) do not have to worry about not finding suitable accommodation in Great Britain. Prince Charles (73) is said to have offered his son and his wife to live with him before Christmas. This is reported by the British tabloid “Daily Mirror”, citing insiders.

Charles is said to have expressed a desire to be able to spend time with his grandchildren. Archie (2), the son of Meghan and Harry, Charles last saw in person when the little one was around six months old. His sister Lilibet (7 months), who was born last June, never. In the past few months, he is said to have seen her at least during a few video calls.

“The Prince of Wales is sad that he has not had the opportunity to spend time with his grandchildren, whom he misses dearly,” an anonymous source said. The 73-year-old is a “fantastic grandfather” and fully immerses himself in this role. Charles feels something is missing in his life if he doesn’t have the opportunity to meet his grandchildren. Charles is also looking forward to possibly spending time with his son Harry in the near future.

Will Meghan and the kids be there?

Recently, the Royal expert Phil Dampier speculated in conversation with the British “The Sun”.that Harry will travel to Great Britain alone in the future and Meghan could stay in the USA with the children. According to media reports, the 37-year-old is currently in a dispute over his personal protection, which the Ministry of the Interior is no longer to prevent after he has given up his royal duties.

According to Dampier, this could serve as a “very good excuse” for Meghan to stay in the United States with the children and let Harry fly alone to Queen Elizabeth II’s platinum anniversary (95). Should it really happen that Meghan, Archie and Lilibet do not travel to England, it would be “very sad” for the Queen too. Like Prince Charles, she has never met her great-granddaughter Lilibet in person – and there is a chance that never will. The little one is named after her great-grandmother: Lilibet is the nickname of the Queen.
