Prince Charles is back from the corona isolation. The Queen’s son beamed at an appointment in London on Thursday.

About a week ago it became public knowledge that Prince Charles (73) had contracted the corona virus for the second time. After days of self-isolation, the eldest son of Queen Elizabeth II (95) made a public appointment again on Thursday. Together with his sister Princess Anne (71), he presented the Queen’s Jubilee Awards for higher education and further education at St James’s Palace.

Both Charles and Anne beamed upon their arrival at the ceremony, as shown by several photos on the Royals’ Instagram account. Charles appeared in a blue pinstriped suit, white shirt and light blue tie. Anne wore a dark green suit with a knee-length skirt and closed blazer.

Much fuss in the British royal family

During their visit, the siblings simply smiled away at the current headlines about the British royal family. In addition to Prince Andrew’s (61) trial, where the out-of-court settlement with Virginia Giuffre (38) recently caused a stir, there were fears for the Queen’s health. It was recently announced that the 95-year-old monarch had met Prince Charles before he tested positive for the corona virus. Charles’ wife Camilla (74) has also been infected again. However, Queen Elizabeth II again held a face-to-face meeting at Windsor Castle on Wednesday.

In addition, it was announced on Wednesday that the British police are investigating a charity run by Prince Charles. The police refer to the evaluation of a letter from September 2021, which is related to corresponding media reports. At the time it was reported that an employee of Charles’ “The Prince’s Foundation” was suspected of having offered a man from Saudi Arabia not only awards but also British citizenship in return for donations.

According to a report by the British Guardian, Clarence House said: “The Prince of Wales was not aware of the alleged offer of awards or British citizenship based on donations to his charities.” A spokesman for the “Prince’s Foundation” did not want to comment because it was “inappropriate” to comment on an ongoing police investigation.
