Prince Albert II surprisingly visited a German amusement park with his children. Charlene of Monaco was obviously not there.

Prince Albert II (65) paid a private visit to Germany this week. The Prince of Monaco spent three days at Europa-Park in Rust with his children, eight-year-old twins Gabriella and Jacques. This emerges from a message from the amusement park. His wife, Charlene of Monaco (45), the mother of the princess and the hereditary prince, was apparently not there.

Prince Albert II: “My children love amusement parks”

In return, Charlène’s younger brother Sean Wittstock joined the prince with his wife and children. Albert II had already visited the park with his family in autumn 2021. “My children love amusement parks,” explains the prince of his renewed stay in the message. Gabriella and Jacques would have asked for the visit. The children and adults also visited the Rulantica water park, among other things.

Next week, Albert II is expected in England together with Charlène, to whom he has been married since 2011. He is said to be one of the non-British royal guests at the coronation of King Charles III. (74) and Queen Camilla (75). The ceremony will take place at London’s Westminster Abbey on Saturday 6 May. In addition to the Monegasques, King Carl Gustaf (76) and his daughter, Crown Princess Victoria (45), are expected to arrive from Sweden, as well as Crown Prince Frederik (54) and Crown Princess Mary (51) from Denmark.
