Private detective Ferdinand Zankl (Michael Ostrowski) is suspected of having murdered his ex-girlfriend, the animal shelter director Nunzia Rossi (Dagny Dewath). He is arrested by the Passau police. At this point in time, Zankl is under a lot of pressure to act because of another matter. The media had reported that excavation work was taking place in the Bavarian Forest to salvage relics from Roman times. Since Zankl buried the body of an Arab contract killer there last winter, he urgently needs to prevent the excavation team from finding the body.

When sports manager Ali Davis (Taraji P. Henson) is once again passed over by her boss in favor of a man, she falls into a deep hole. However, after visiting a fortune teller and being hit on the head, luck is on her side: the ambitious businesswoman can suddenly read men’s minds. Determined to show her boss, she puts her new ability to good use.

An injured dog triggers a search operation by the mountain rescuers, because its owner Marie Vogt (Petra Kleinert), who has a heart condition, has disappeared without a trace. She’s with a man she barely knows. The two had an accident while hiking. While Philip (Reinhold Kammerer) sets out alone to get help, Marie hopes for her dog. This actually leads the mountain rescuers and Marie’s husband to her. Only Philip, who urgently needs his medication, cannot be found.
8:15 p.m., kabel eins, Rosins Restaurants – A star chef cleans up!, Gastrosoap
Frank Rosin received a call for help from Oberreifenberg. Daniela and her husband Matthias run the Latin American restaurant “Punto Latino” there. The professional quickly recognizes where the shoe pinches: complete overstrain in the kitchen, listless appearance at the bar and disappointed test eaters are the results of the first day. The star chef has to put his heart and soul into this case in order to create financial and culinary perspectives for the family of four.

Special agent Jacques (Jean-Claude Van Damme) is celebrating his birthday with his wife and children. Now, of all times, he is supposed to bring the thief Galina (Laura Harring) from Bratislava to Munich. The job also turns out to be highly explosive, because the criminal is carrying a biological warfare agent that a terrorist squad is also after.
