8:15 p.m., ZDF, German lesson, drama

Germany shortly after the Second World War. Siggi Jepsen (Tom Gronau), a young man, has to write an essay on the subject of “The joys of duty” in a prison. There is no beginning, the sheet remains blank. When he has to catch up on the task the next day, he writes down his memories obsessively. Memories of his father Jens Ole Jepsen (Ulrich Noethen). As a police officer, he was one of the authorities in a small north German village and was wholeheartedly devoted to the duties of his office.

8:15 p.m., VOX, The Lion’s Den, founders’ show

The founding trio Thomas Gemperle (34), Pascal Buholzer (29) and Bernhard Winter (27) presented the product Scewo Bro, a stair-climbing electric wheelchair, to the lions. For this they are demanding the highest investment sum in the history of the show: five million euros! Dagmar Wöhrl dares to try it on himself. Will the ride convince you? He is considered the “king of the woods”. The red deer – a myth! He has often been filmed, mostly as a roaring, roaring rutting stag that fights for the females in autumn. But how the species “ticks” for the rest of the year is often overlooked. The animals are not boring ruminants: hidden cameras in wallows or other “rendezvous places” give unusual and rare insights into the secret life of the red deer.

8:15 p.m., Kabel eins, GI Joe – Cobra secret mission, action thriller

Duke (Channing Tatum) and Ripcord (Marlon Wayans), members of the US special forces unit GI Joe, are to oversee the transfer of four nano-warheads of enormous destructive power. The transport is hampered by the attack by the terrorist Baroness (Sienna Miller). Nevertheless, it manages to get the cargo to the GI Joe operations center in Egypt – nobody suspects that the arms dealer McCullen (Christopher Eccleston) is planning an attack on the base.

10:40 p.m., ZDF, enemies – hostiles, westerns

In 1892 Joseph J. Blocker (Christian Bale), a captain in the US Army, has to bring an old enemy, the terminally ill Cheyenne chief (Wes Studi), who has been imprisoned for years, and his family from New Mexico to Montana, where his fathers land. Because the head of the tribe wants to die on sacred earth. Shortly after they set off, the group comes across a traumatized farmer’s wife (Rosamund Pike) who has lost her entire family in an attack by the Komantschen. Together they continue the extremely dangerous journey.
