The commissioners Joseph Kanjaa (Michael Klammer) and Clarissa Jakobs (Samia Chancrin) are new to the LKA in Düsseldorf. But not to the delight of their colleagues. Because the two are investigating internally. After a drug operation, cocaine and cash disappeared into the pockets of the police officers involved. Joseph and Clarissa are convinced of that. But they can’t prove it. You have to catch Stefan Krohn (Alex Brendemühl) and his two colleagues in the act.

In Estonia, gray seals are increasingly suffering from global warming. In the past, the young were born on the ice of the Baltic Sea in late winter. Now the mothers give birth to their babies crowded together on small islands. Given the high temperatures, they are at risk of heat stroke. How will the gray seals solve the problem? The eider ducks on the Danish group of pea islands have to face a completely different challenge. Their main food, the mussel, is getting smaller and smaller due to rising water temperatures. Already weakened, eider ducks begin their breeding season, but constantly have to keep hungry seagulls at bay that are after their chicks.

The trapper Hugh Glass (Leonardo DiCaprio) is traveling with his expedition near the Missouri River when he is attacked by a bear and critically wounded. His companions then desert him and kill his son as well, leaving him alone in the wilderness. From now on, Glass fights for sheer survival and seeks revenge.
