Julian Nagelsmann is in demand on the coaching market after leaving Bayern. According to a report, he is now to present his ideas and approaches at Chelsea FC.

According to media reports, Chelsea FC are still looking intensively at ex-Bayern coach Julian Nagelsmann in the search for a new head coach.

The 35-year-old should present his ideas to the English Premier League club, reported the “Bild”. Accordingly, Nagelsmann should have the opportunity to introduce himself personally to the club bosses. After leaving FC Bayern Munich, Nagelsmann is one of the contenders for the coaching position from next season, and club icon Frank Lampard (44) was brought back as interim coach by the end of the season.

Nagelsmann would meet an old acquaintance at Chelsea. At the end of the previous year, Christopher Vivell (36) joined the Londoners as technical director. Vivell was previously a squad planner at RB Leipzig and worked there together with Nagelsmann as head coach from 2020 to 2021.

Also Enrique a candidate

According to media reports, the Spaniard Luis Enrique (52), who last coached the Spanish national soccer team at the World Cup in Qatar at the end of 2022, flew to London last week to negotiate with Chelsea boss Todd Boehly. The chances of an agreement are not bad, wrote “Mundo Deportivo”. So far, however, there has been no agreement.

In addition to Nagelsmann, who is considered a top candidate according to some British media, former PSG coach Mauricio Pochettino, France’s ex-world champion Zinedine Zidane and Eintracht Frankfurt’s Oliver Glasner were also traded as possible successors to Graham Potter, who was released due to lack of success.
