- Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Saturday evening that major problems with power cuts were still affecting several areas of the country, such as the Kyiv region and the capital, the city of Odessa and its region, as well as in the regions of Kharkiv, Vinnytsia, Ternopil, Cherkasy and Chernihiv.
- The new British Prime Minister, Rishi Sunak, paid a surprise visit to kyiv on Saturday, and met Volodymyr Zelensky. He pledged £50m (€57m) air defense aid for Ukraine, and said the UK would continue to support Kyiv “until Ukraine has won peace”.
