Elton John teamed up with Dua Lipa for his first UK number one hit in 16 years: How did it work out?
Singer Elton John (75) has a positive memory of the collaboration on the song “Cold Heart (Pnau Remix)” with Dua Lipa. He told industry magazine People: “She didn’t really need a lot of advice.” You did that very well. He also gushed, “She’s so smart, so grounded and so close to the action. It’s a pleasure to be with her.” With the song, the pop legend landed a number one hit in the British charts for the first time in 16 years.
For Dua Lipa (27) it was the third number one hit in Great Britain. The musician was born in London in 1995 to Kosovar-Albanian parents. She celebrated her breakthrough as a singer in 2015 with “Be the One” and celebrated international success with songs like “New Rules” or “One Kiss”, and she also won several Grammy Awards.
