Police pursue two men in Großhadern and fire a warning shot – Munich

A passer-by observed a dispute between several people in the area of ​​Heiglhofstrasse in Großhadern on Saturday morning. Because there was talk of a knife, he made an emergency call. The police came to the scene immediately; while searching for suspicious people, the officers noticed two men aged 25 and 30. However, they did not want to be controlled and tried to escape.

When one of the men reached into his trouser pocket and both did not stop despite the officers’ requests, an officer fired a warning shot. Only then could the men be controlled. No one was injured during the operation. The police did not find a knife on any of the suspects, so they were released on site. However, the police are continuing to investigate the emergency call received.
