Community Day is a now traditional, recurring event in Pokemon Go and every month you get a new chance, it’s mostly appreciated because of the higher chance of shiny Pokemon, in this case of course that dazzling Igamaro.

When does Community Day start in January 2023?
Here is the date for the current Community Day in Pokémon Go:
- Saturday 7 January 2023 – 2pm to 5pm local time
On this day you can catch the following Pokémon and benefit from these bonuses:
- Saturday, January 7, 2023 – Igamaro + Double catch candies, egg distance reduced by 75% and double chance of XL candies from trainer level 31
What else you should know:
- power during the event up to five snapshotsto attract additional Igamaro.
- If you go to Igastarnish during the event and up to five hours after Brigaron develops, it learns the Charged attack Flora statue.
- Lure modules and smoke hold during the event for three hours
- Each exchange during the event and up to five hours after it costs 50% less Stardust.
- It is an additional special exchange available, i.e. total on this day two.
- For around one euro there is a new and suitable special research in the in-game shop.
Bonus raid battles against Ursaring after Community Day
After the actual end of the Community Day you can from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m nor level 4 raid battles against Igastarnish graduate
If you are victorious, they appear in the vicinity of the respective arena 30 minutes long once again wild Igamarothe shiny chance is just as high as during the Community Day.
You can take part in the raid battles against Igastarnish exclusively with a Raid Pass or Premium Battle Pass participate, so you definitely have to be there. Remote Raid Passes cannot be used.

How does Community Day work in Pokemon Go?
At Community Day, a specific Pokémon is usually the focus and dominates the events in Pokémon Go for several hours.
The respective Pokémon appear more frequently in the wild during the event period, you can also attract them with smoke and lure modules and take a few snapshots for additional encounters.
There are also rotating bonuses, evolved Pokémon can have exclusive moves, and in most cases, the shiny specimen of each Pokémon makes its in-game debut during Community Day. On top of that, the chances of catching a dazzling specimen are significantly increased during the event period.
