A player from the amateur team of the Cassiop Team, a rugby team playing in corpo, died Friday evening in the middle of a rugby match in Bompas, a town near Perpignan.
A few minutes from the end of the match, the player, also president of the association, suddenly collapsed. Despite the intervention of a teammate, also a civilian nurse, he could not be revived.
